Substance abuse

Substance abuse, such as smoking, caffeine, alcohol, soft and hard drugs, is more prevalent than average in people with ADHD. These drugs seem to temporarily calm you down or improve your concentration. But long-term use of too many (stimulants), on the contrary, causes more restlessness, chaos and forgetfulness and worse sleep. Substance abuse can also lead to gloom and, of course, addiction.
